The Master of Educational Technology program at Boise State University is focused on five primary learning objectives. Each of these objectives reflect professional standards employed by organizations such as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and the Assocation for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT).

Design and develop technology enhanced educational or training materials and content (e.g., curriculum, instruction, performance supports) to maximize motivation, engagement, efficacy and efficiency with respect to learning.
