I took EDTECH 512: Online Course Design before I took EDTECH 503: Instructional Design so it was a rapid introduction to the concept of instructional design, an entire field of study I had no prior exposure to. The structure provided by the template in the course was very helpful in giving a framework to build the online course around. This artifact provides the design I used to develop the Beginning Python Course in EDTECH 512 which will be featured elsewhere in this portfolio.

Beginning Python - Online Course
Leadership - Artifact 2
I developed this online course as the final project in EDTECH 512. This course intends to introduce learners to the Python programming language and the core concepts of computational thinking. While this artifact does not demonstrate leadership from its content alone the method I chose to implement the artifact hopefully does. This course represents a significant amount of time and effort although I am not sure that it is readily apparent by its appearance.

I would be remiss not to include an artifact from my favorite course in the program. Introduction to Machine Learning Education (EDTECH 597) provided an excellent introduction to machine learning and data analysis using Python, Orange, and Jupyter Notebooks. The artifact linked below is from an exercise later in the course where various machine learning models were applied to a dataset and evaluated. Further below is a representative output from a Jupyter notebook used in the course.
